Invitation to a BHF peer support event

Message received from BHF on Thursday 1st  October 2020 –

Hello,

Hope you and yours are keeping well.

We contacted you previously about a pilot event to bring together people affected by heart and circulatory disease in Dorset and Somerset. We now have things in place and would like to invite you to a peer support event on Wednesday 21st October 5pm. It will take place via Zoom (an online meeting platform) and last around an hour. Please forward this invite to all members of your Heart Support Group so they can sign up if interested.

The event will be an opportunity for you to share your experiences of the last few months, such as how you’ve been coping and changes you’ve noticed in the community, with other members of Heart Support Groups and Community Fundraising volunteers. There will also be time to chat about the different activities that local BHF groups are getting up to, and we’d love to hear your feedback on how the BHF can support you in the future.

If you are interested in attending, sign-up by clicking the following link: https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/support/heart-support-groups/peer-support-events/dorsetsomerset-peer-support-virtual-event/registration?page=1

Once you have registered, you’ll shortly receive an email with information about how to join the event. Numbers are limited so we can make sure everyone has a chance to join in the conversation. If the event is full when you sign-up, you’ll be told you’re on a waiting list so we can contact you if spaces become available. We’re sorry if this causes any disappointment.

If you have any questions, please contact heartsupportgroups@bhf.org.uk.

We hope to see you there!

Best wishes,
Elena
