Are you an ‘older driver’ and want to drive safely for longer? Do you have elderly relatives and would like to find out how to help them with their fitness to drive?
In place of the annual older driver face-to-face workshops that usually happen at this time of year, we are providing three older driver webinars that you can join free of charge. You just need a laptop, iPad or smartphone to be able to join the session. This is a first for the Dorset Older Drivers’ Forum and the initial webinars this year will be an opportunity to find out more information about the scheme, to take part in a short interactive ‘top tips’ presentation from our driver awareness tutors and be given access to literature, links for driving assessments as well as where to go to brush up on driving skills. This could be the start of further interactive webinars but we need you to join us and help with feedback. The webinars will take about 1 hour to complete from the comfort of your own home and you can pick one from the following three session times:
- Monday 12 October between 2-3pm
- Wednesday 14 October between 2-3pm
- Friday 16 October between 2-3pm
To book your place on any of the three sessions please click the link below and fill in your details. There is a ‘drop down’ menu to select your preferred date. You will receive joining instructions once you complete the below form. There is a limited number of places per session so if your preferred date is full, please try another.

Please note: You cannot book onto the sessions by replying to this Dorset Alert message – you must use the link above.
