If you get fed up of reading or watching TV, have a look at what your radio has to offer. If you don’t have a radio you can pick up all of the BBC stations on the “BBC Sounds app” on your phone or tablet. If you have a radio it is worth scanning the channels for content you like, rather than just listening to your standard station all of the time. Radio 5 Live has the podcast “10 Today – Physical Activity for Older People”. I haven’t heard it yet, but it could be appropriate.
A number of PHSG members have asked how they can exercise at home, now that all the exercise classes have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Do you have any comments or suggestions on how we can do this?
I urge all of our members to read and bookmark all of the items in your latest newsletter. To do this, look at each item in turn in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc) and click on the option for your browser which remembers them as a ‘Favorite (USA spelling)’ or ‘Bookmark’. Then you can get back to them whenever you want to use them. I have actually created each as a Windows “shortcut” on my desktop so we can hit them on there.
